About HARU.

Art + Fashion

Founded in 2020 in Seattle, HARU. is a contemporary fashion label by designer Haruko Mori, existing at the intersection of fine art, printmaking, and wearable design.

Rooted in a rigorous fine art education in Japan, Haruko holds a Master’s degree in Oil Painting and Printmaking. Her practice has been exhibited internationally and has included collaborations with fashion houses in Tokyo, establishing a multidisciplinary foundation that bridges studio art and contemporary fashion.

HARU. emerges from this continuum, translating Haruko’s visual language into limited-edition footwear and apparel. Each piece is conceived as an extension of her printmaking practice—where the concept of editioning informs the brand’s core philosophy of rarity, intentionality, and collectability.

“Creating sneakers, T-shirts, and objects with my artwork is, for me, an extension of printmaking. Like prints, each piece exists within a defined edition—wearable works that carry the presence of the original gesture.”

Raised in a fashion-conscious household in Japan, Haruko developed an early sensitivity to form, silhouette, and cultural expression through clothing. This foundation, combined with a lifelong engagement with streetwear aesthetics, informs HARU.’s distinctive tension between refinement and everyday utility.

Defined by restraint and artistic clarity, HARU. presents garments and footwear as collectible artifacts—where art is not applied to fashion, but intrinsically embedded within it.

HARU. is a personal system of expression: a dialogue between artist and object, process and product. Each release is limited, deliberate, and inseparable from Haruko’s artistic identity.
